Dragonball Z Fusion Force(FFR) is a special text forum-rpg .

What are the features of the forum?
The Forum supports the training system, the scavenging system, the bounty system, the role playing system, the battle system, the script system, and a few other special systems. There are other features outside of the forum itself.

Can I be one of the characters from the show? How about my own pre-made character?
The characters from the show, are limited and are given out rarely. However, with the systems put in place, you can create your own character and choose from many different races.

This is my first time role playing how tough will it be for us newbs?
In all honesty, do the best that you can. Were not going to yell at you, nor hinder you from having fun, getting stronger, gaining cool items and learning cool skills. However please realize that if you want to do extraordinary things, then you have to work hard to earn it. Working hard never comes easy. However, we are not here to bash you for your mistakes, nor will we look down on you for trying. Above all, this place is suppose to be fun.

Is there going to be a large 'join' form, with a bio and all sorts of info to fill out to get accepted here?
You know, most dbz rp'ers are so used to those forms where a lot of work is required before you even be accepted . It doesn't work like that here. Joining is as easy as 1-2-3. It's building your character that's a bit challenging. There are simple ways to build your character and there are more advance ways. Obviously you can learn as you go, and of course, as you try to earn more advanced skills/items/etc you'll have to meet the right requirements. If you wanna jump into the action and get started right away, there's nothing to slow you down though.

I'm big on literate rp'ing! I need insurance that this place will reward me for my hard work.
My only answer to you large paragraph writers out there for this question is CP. The more you write per post, the more cp you earn. CP has its benefits, but it also has its limits. For the most part, you need CP for just about everything you want to do in FFR, however CP isn't the complete source of your power, your brain is. So rest assured, CP will be beneficial to you if you love writing a lot, but don't expect it to carry you to 1st place at the finish line.

How many races are there and do they all have transformations? Can I go Super Saiyan 4?
There are 12 races, in the future I hope to add more. Each race will have a unique series of transformations. In FFR transformations are called Change of State. They are not referred to as transformations here. Each race has a balanced Change of State. Saiyans will have the chance to try and achieve Super Saiyan 4.

Does this dbz rpg follow the dragonball z story from beginning to end?
To some extent it will, however expect variations. Expect to re-live dragonball z all over again, starting with the Raditz saga, to the Cell-->> Buu saga. However there will be variations to make things interesting.

How is this site a non noob forum rpg site? I want details about the role playing that goes on here.
Giving you too much details will ruin part of the fun. However, realize that FFR is designed for the serious role player as well as the non-serious one. Heavy literate role players as well as the semi-literates will be able to co-exist here and earn their keep appropriately, with the way this system is designed. The key to incredible success though is understanding balance. Think about fun people.

Let's talk about stats baaby! Tell me about stats, skills & items.
Well through the training system and the role playing system, battle system and scavenging system, your character will get stronger.
In Fusion Force, there's 6 types of skills.
  • PHY - physical based skills. Melee w/wout weapons (kick/punch/some weapons being attacked)
  • ABIL -special abilities. Examples, Regen/Tri-Form/Kaio-Ken/Absorb/Fly/
  • ENER -Ki Energy Based Skills. Kamehameha/Special Beam Canon/Kienzen
  • TECH - A highly tuned, highly refined ENER skill
  • FORCE - A highly tuned, highly refined ABIL/PHY skill
  • ARC - Unprecented, Extraordinary, Immeasurable phy/abil/ener type skill
  • There's also 6 Types of items. Common/Uncommon/Rare/Incredibly Rare/Legendary & Unique.

Stats, are quite interesting. A player only has 7 Stats. 4 of them are standard, and the other 3 are non-standard.
    STANDARD : HP / STR / SPEED / KI-ENERGY
    NON-STANDARD : PIVOT / PROPAGTE / FREQUENCY

How many planets are there? Can I die? If (yes) what happens?
There's only 1 planet, (Earth), however there's lots to do, more planets will be added later. Although there's 1 planet, I am also adding 'the next dimension' or 'other world' as people like to refer it. If you die in-game, you go there. Realize you can die in other-world also. Dying in other world sends you to HFIL/HELL.

Do you have very dragonball z attack/skill in Fusion Force?
The answer to that is 'no'. I've omitted quite a large chunk of skills/attacks. This however does not mean that there won't be many to choose from when you start. Nor does it mean that I won't add more skills/attacks later on.

Can I try and gather the dragonballs? How many dragonballs are there? What's the deal with them?
There's 5 unique sets of dragonballs, and yes you can try to gather them to make a wish. Realize though that this is an ambitious endeavor, since everyone else is after the dragonballs too. Here are the sets which exist in FFR
  • Kami Set - The original small, earth dragonballs, where kame and piccolo disjointed. Grants 1 wish
  • Dende's Set -Dende's earth dragonballs which he created after piccolo and kame merged. Grants 2 wishes
  • Guru's Set -The original large namek sets, that grants 3 wishes
  • Dark Star Set - The set which came into existence after Piccolo and Kame merged. Grants 1 Superior wish
  • Corrupted Dark Star Set - The dark star set with lots of negative energy. Grants 1 Legendary wish

  • Will there be teams/clans?
Yes, but that feature will be added later on.

What can I do with the game items?
You'll be able to equip, use, sell or trade them.

What's the script system and scanvenging system? Will there be quests and sagas?
The script system allows in game computer characters to interact with your character. The scavenging system will allow players to find/get items to build or enhance weapons. Quests and sagas are all part of the scripting system. So the answer is yes.

Any last comments you want to make?
There's a lot of depth in this rpg, so I hope people really try and learn a lot of the different aspects of it or at least take the time to do so. If you do that, you'll enjoy this rpg to the max and I'll have completed my end goal.
